What is Philippine Culture?
The culture of the Philippines comprises a blend of traditional Filipino and Spanish Catholic traditions, with influences from America and other parts of Asia. The Filipinos are family oriented and often religious with an appreciation for art, fashion, music and food. (iExplore.com).

History of the Philippine Culture
That the combination of traditional Filipino and Spanish Catholic practices with influences from America and other parts of Asia is the culture of the Philippines.

The uniqueness of Philippine Cultures to others and what everyone should know in order to have a great influence on everyone. This are the Different culture’s of the Philippines being proud in this kind of Culture.

Philippine Family (Salo-salo)

Family is considered to be the foundation of social life for most Filipinos, having a happy family is the proud culture of the Philippines. Because having a family like this in the Philippines is the first time that it brings great pleasure that all the needs and happiness in life come from the family where people begin to learn how to adopt a culture. Family is the first to teach everything that even to the end family. Compared to other countries, they gain freedom when they reach the right age and separate from their families. Here in the Philippines people prefer to be with their parents because here they see real fun and good fellowship of people. Like during secular and religious holidays, having deep love for family reunions such as Christmas, New Year’s Eve, All Saints’ Day, Holy Week, Fiestas, homecomings, birthdays, marriages, graduations, baptisms, funerals, etc. is proof that not only our cultural tradition but the spirit of our family was loved by Filipino people.

Filipinos are very respectful. Since we were born they are already taught how to be respectful by using these simple “Po and Opo”, everytime we talk to someone older than us we use it, and when we call the elders even if we don’t know much we use “Ate , Kuya, Tito, Tita, etc.” and at the same time “Pagmamano”. As a show of respect because Filipinos are used to it.
I like it not only it in Filipino happens. But also to other people who do not even use Po and Opo, and Pagmamano. We still show respect for people, through conversation. Respect is not only in the Philippines, but we need to use it in all aspects. It is different for Filipinos to value and train people, showing that this culture is right and beautiful, because we show at the beginning of childhood that we know how to respect and by learning it we pass it on to others.
“Respect is earned not given” was not given, but we achieved it because we learned. Not everyone knows how to be respectful, so we need to achieve this so we can learn.

The language of the Philippines changed at that time due to the conquests of other races. There was adoption in languages where others were lost. Today in the Philippines there are many different languages, the Philippines has 120–175 languages, which is different here in every place in the Philippines. This is one of the Filipino problems where a word has a different meaning when a person goes or emigrates elsewhere.

Black Nazarene in the Philippines

Religious of the Filipinos that even though the Filipinos have many and different religions, there is still respect. Even if people’s views and opinions sometimes change because of Religion, sometimes their belief in their views exaggerates and they make the wrong decision. But because this is the Filipino Culture in Religion. There is still respect for it. In the Philippines where there is a large Catholic religion, their relationship with good and god is improved. That is where people go to church twice a week.

Philippines Street food

Food which is one of the pride of the Philippines because of the many thoughts that Filipinos can cook in Unique ingredients it has a good view of other races. One of the foods of the Filipinos is “Balot” where these Filipinos are used to being fed to foreigners and it is also here that Filipinos are known when it comes to Street foods in the Philippines. The Philippines has many different dishes and street foods that others are proud of. Most often steamed and always served with meat, fish and vegetable dishes

Sinulog Festival in Cebu

Filipinos are colorful in their clothes and they are more on party. Just like every occasion there is a celebration even if it is a small occasion. Filipinos are satisfied and they want this to be the case in the area. At the Fiesta where there are various Fiestas in the area of the Philippines and here the colorful costumes of the People are also displayed. They are proud of the place because it has become their tradition where it was created by the Filipinos.

Filipinos are also polite individuals who love to have a good time. Sometimes, this means coming together to sing, dance and eat. The seasonal calendar is full of festivals, many of which blend costumes and practices from the pre-Christian background of the country with today’s Catholic values and ideology. Filipino individuals are very hardworking and aspire for the next generation in their families to make life better.

It shows the different cultures of the Filipinos in the Philippines that they are proud of. These are just a few of the things that are happening in the country. It gives a good and good perspective to people. They are something we should continue to support, nurture, and improve because these are the visible good things happening in the area. The countries have different Cultures. But it still needs respect. Even if the perspective is different and becomes a preference. It is better to accept, know and respect what is happening. Not just in Culture but in all aspects.
